Four-jaw single-action chuck:
Structural composition: It consists of a plate body, four screw rods and a pair of claws. Each jaw has its own lead screw to control its movement, allowing each jaw to be adjusted and moved independently.
Working principle: During operation, the four clamping claws are driven by rotating the four screw rods to clamp or loosen the workpiece. Since the claws act individually, the position of each claw needs to be adjusted separately when clamping the workpiece.
Features:
Strong applicability: It can be used to clamp workpieces of various shapes, especially eccentric parts and irregularly shaped parts. For example, when processing some non-circular and complex-shaped workpieces, a four-jaw single-action chuck can achieve stable clamping of the workpiece by adjusting the position of the jaws.
Flexible adjustment: It can be adjusted accurately according to the specific shape and size of the workpiece to ensure the clamping accuracy and processing accuracy of the workpiece. But this also means that the operation is relatively complex and requires certain skills and experience.
