Material properties
Aluminum alloy valve body connectors are mainly made of aluminum alloy. Aluminum alloy has the characteristic of low density, which is about 1/3 that of steel, which makes the connector lighter and easier to install and carry.
Aluminum alloy has good thermal conductivity and can conduct heat quickly, which is advantageous in some application scenarios involving heat exchange. At the same time, it also has certain corrosion resistance, especially after surface treatment (such as anodizing), its corrosion resistance can be significantly improved.
Shape and size

2. Connection principle
Threaded connection
Many aluminum alloy valve body connectors use threaded connections. The design of the external thread or internal thread is precise, and the pitch and tooth profile comply with standard specifications. When connecting, a tight connection is achieved by screwing onto pipes or equipment components with matching threads. Threaded connections have the advantage of being detachable and easy to repair and replace.
Flange connection
Some aluminum alloy valve body connectors are equipped with flanges. When connecting flanges, place gaskets between the connecting heads and the flanges of the corresponding equipment, and then fasten the flanges together with bolts. This connection method can withstand greater pressure and torque and is suitable for large-diameter pipelines and high-pressure systems.
Card sleeve connection
There are also some connectors that use ferrule connections. Card sleeves are usually made of metal and are elastic. During the connection process, the ferrule is placed on the pipe. After the connector is inserted, the ferrule hugs the pipe tightly under the action of external pressure to form a seal and connection. The ferrule connection operation is relatively simple and has good sealing performance.
Water supply and drainage system
In water supply and drainage pipelines, aluminum alloy valve body connectors are used to connect pipes of different diameters.
