Stainless steel solid cone nozzles are tapered in shape. This tapered structure gradually narrows from the inlet to the outlet, which can effectively converge and accelerate the fluid. The size of its cone angle is usually designed according to specific application requirements. Common cone angles are between 15° and 120°.
The nozzle is a solid structure with no hollow channel inside, which allows the fluid to enter the nozzle only from the inlet end, and then is ejected in a specific shape and speed at the outlet through the special design of the nozzle.
Material
Made of stainless steel, such as 304 stainless steel or 316 stainless steel. 304 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for general industrial and civil environments; 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum and has stronger corrosion resistance in highly corrosive media environments such as chloride ions. The high strength and hardness of stainless steel also ensures that the nozzle will not be easily deformed when subjected to a certain amount of pressure.
2. Working principle
Fluid acceleration and injection
When a fluid (such as water, chemical solution, etc.) enters a stainless steel solid cone nozzle, the speed of the fluid will gradually increase according to Bernoulli's equation because the cross-sectional area from the inlet to the outlet of the nozzle gradually decreases. At the outlet, the fluid is ejected at high speed, forming a cone-shaped spray shape.
This high-speed jet of fluid can be used for a variety of purposes. For example, in the cleaning industry, the high-speed jet of water can effectively remove dirt; in the spraying industry, the high-speed jet of paint can evenly cover the surface of the workpiece.
Spray characteristics
The angle and coverage of its spray are determined by the cone angle of the nozzle and the outlet size. A smaller cone angle will produce a narrower spray angle and a longer spray distance, which is suitable for occasions where concentrated spray is required; a larger cone angle will produce a wider spray angle and a shorter spray distance, which is suitable for large area coverage. application scenarios.
Cleaning industry
In industrial cleaning, stainless steel solid cone nozzles are commonly used in high-pressure cleaning equipment. For example, when cleaning the car body and parts on the automobile production line, the high-speed jet of water through the nozzle can remove oil, dust and other dirt. In pipeline cleaning, it can wash away the dirt on the inner wall of the pipeline to ensure that the pipeline is clean and smooth.
Spraying industry
In fields such as paint spraying and powder spraying, this nozzle can spray paint evenly onto the surface of the workpiece.
