Main types:
Standard threaded joint: This is the most common type, such as M20×1.5, NPT1/2 inch, G1/2 inch and other specifications. M20×1.5 is commonly used to connect some pressure transmitters in China, NPT thread is widely used internationally, and G thread is mostly used in Europe.
Flush membrane joint: The diaphragm of this kind of adapter is flush with the end face of the joint, and is suitable for measuring the pressure of special media such as viscous, easy to crystallize, and corrosive media. It can reduce the accumulation and residue of media on the diaphragm and ensure the accuracy and stability of measurement.
Inch thread joints: The thread size is marked in imperial units, such as NPT1/2 inch, etc. It is often used to connect to foreign imported equipment or pipes designed in accordance with imperial standards.
Material features:
Stainless steel material: It has good corrosion resistance, high strength and high temperature resistance, and is suitable for various harsh working environments, such as chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical and other industries. 304 and 316L stainless steel are the most commonly used materials. 316L stainless steel has better corrosion resistance and is suitable for occasions with higher corrosion resistance requirements.
Polytetrafluoroethylene material: It has excellent corrosion resistance and anti-adhesion, and can resist the erosion of most chemical substances. It is often used for pressure transmitter adapters that measure highly corrosive media. However, the strength of PTFE is relatively low and may deform at high temperatures. When using it, you need to pay attention to the temperature and pressure range of the medium.

Connecting devices with different interface types:
Thread specification conversion: The interface thread specification of the pressure transmitter may be inconsistent with the thread specifications of on-site pipes or other equipment. The adapter can convert between different thread standards, such as converting M20×1.5 thread to NPT1/2, etc. , ensure that the pressure transmitter can be connected to the pipe or equipment smoothly. In this way, even if the interface does not match during the installation and maintenance process, fast and reliable connection can be achieved through the adapter.
Connection mode conversion: In addition to threaded connections, there are other connection modes, such as flange connections, ferrule connections, etc. The adapter can convert one connection method of the pressure transmitter into another connection method to meet the needs of different installation scenarios.
Adapt to different installation environments and conditions:
Angle adjustment: In some cases where space is limited or the installation location is special, the pressure transmitter may not be directly connected to the pipeline or equipment. The adapter can provide different angles, such as right-angle adapter, angled adapter, etc., to help the pressure transmitter adapt to complex installation angle requirements and ensure accurate measurement of pressure signals.
Distance compensation: When the distance between the pressure transmitter and the measurement point is large, it may be necessary to use an extension tube or adapter to compensate for the distance. The adapter can be connected to an extension tube or other intermediate connection piece, allowing the pressure transmitter to be installed in the appropriate location while ensuring the accuracy of signal transmission.
Protect pressure transmitters and measuring systems:
Sealing effect: The adapter can provide good sealing performance and prevent media leakage. During the pressure measurement process, if the medium leaks, it will not only affect the accuracy of the measurement results, but may also cause harm to the surrounding environment and personnel. The sealing structure of the adapter can ensure a tight connection between the pressure transmitter and the pipeline or equipment to avoid leakage problems.
Buffering and shock absorption: In some working environments with large vibration or shock, the adapter can play the role of buffering and shock absorption, reducing mechanical damage to the pressure transmitter. For example, near compressors, pumps and other equipment at industrial production sites, pressure transmitters may be affected by vibration and shock. Using adapters can effectively protect the pressure transmitter and extend its service life.
Convenient maintenance and replacement of pressure transmitters:
Quick disassembly: When the pressure transmitter needs to be maintained, repaired or replaced, the adapter can easily separate the pressure transmitter from the pipeline or equipment to improve work efficiency. Compared with directly connecting the pressure transmitter to the pipeline or equipment, using an adapter can reduce the difficulty of disassembly and installation and reduce the risk of damage to the equipment.
