Stainless Steel Crank Shaft
Material:Shaft
1. Cutting speed: Generally speaking, increasing the cutting speed within the range will help reduce surface roughness. Because higher cutting speed can reduce the formation of built-up edges, making the machined surface smoother. However, when the cutting speed is too high, the surface roughness may deteriorate due to reasons such as increased tool wear.
2. Feed amount: As the feed amount increases, the surface roughness value usually increases. Because the greater the feed, the greater the height of the residual area, making the surface rough.
3. Cutting depth: Cutting depth has relatively little effect on surface roughness. However, if the cutting depth is too small, the cutting force may be unstable, which will affect the surface quality; if the cutting depth is too large, it may cause vibration and worsen the surface roughness.
